If you had no symptoms to suggest herpes in the 1-2 weeks after the event you are concerned about, that fact plus the negative result is proof you did not catch herpes. The tests aren't perfect, so there's no point in repeating it: both negative and positive results frequently are false. It's a lousy blood test!
