: If you are not on a combined oral bcp, see your GYN physician for an exam and further testing. "Light bleeding" may be caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which can be caused by constant estrogen production, with irregular bleeding from the endometrial lining. A pelvic ultrasound may be ordered by your GYN physician.
