It depends on the medicine applied. This likely is the medicine chemically treating the wart and, if so, it should calm down over the next 24-48 hours. You can take acetaminophen or ibuprofen. To be certain, you can call the doctor who did the procedure. Good luck!

There are many methods of treating warts. There are conservative methods and aggressive methods. Some doctors have a preferred method but no one method is better than the other I believe whatever is done is only to stimulate your own immune system. Talk with your doctor if a treatment plan presented does not meet your goals seek other doctors
