Nasal injury: Not sure what doc did to examine. An xray is not always conclusive for fracture, so good exam inside and out is necessary. Many displaced nasal fractures are missed as "lumps" when in fact the nasal bone and/or septum has been displaced. But many nasal fractures, displaced or not, are left to heal and repaired later, rather than injuring the injured nose further..
