It is not recommended and could make things worse. Stretch marks are purple because of surface blood vessels, not from pigmentation (where hydroquinone might help). They will fade eventually but it will take months to years. Depending on the circumstances when the stretch marks appeared, you might need to consult a doctor because they can be caused by certain endocrine conditions.
