Best way to treat cough in toddlers?

For simple cough I find a mixture of lemon juice in honey helpful in kids over a year of age. Robatussin is an antihistamine free product that is helpful in some.

There are many causes of cough. A cough that lingers for more than three weeks should be further evaluated. Post nasal drip is often a cause and nasal saline with gentle suction is often effective. Watch for signs of respiratory difficulty.
