You could be: Women with pcos usually have irregular periods. This is because the time it takes to select an egg for ovulation is unpredictable. Your symptoms of egg white mucus may indicate that you are ovulating now. But if you ovulated 5 days ago and the egg is fertilized, you wouldn't have a positive test yet.
