My girlfriend is still having big stomach stomach after an abortion and the residuls has been removed , please what can be the problem?

Is the change in abdominal size from weakening of abdominal muscle tone, deposition of new fat tissue or bloating from intestinal gas accumulation? Hormonal changes may have contributed to any of these. Check to see if she needs to reduce calorie intake & has simply gained weight. Otherwise give her some time for hormonal regulation to normalize.
