Fasting means fasting. No food intake will not alter the values. Drinking plain water is the one thing you can consume that will not.

Fasting for blood is at least 8hrs, so shouldn't be a problem. Have blood work done in morning, after a good night's sleep. You will only need to drink water, I've done this many times without any problems. You want the blood test to be as accurate as possible.
