Ive had a mole on my back since i was a child, my mom had the same one. but recently ive realized a skin tag is growing on its edge, im seeing a dermatologist at the end of the month but wondering if this is something i need to be look at sooner?

It is not possible without seeing it to know if there is anything concerning associated with either the mole or the skin tag. If someone who has seen the mole before can look at it and say it has not changed and that the skin tag is a normal skin color, then it is probably ok to wait. If it is uncertain, perhaps you can call your GP to have it looked at. Good luck!
