A member asked:

Does the end of puberty mean that the growth plates has closed? or is there still some growth left?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are many subtle changes of puberty that can continue after linear growth stops (growth plates closed). The verifiable way to know growth plates have closed would include an x-ray of the wrist/hand where there are several evident growth centers in the finger bones.
