Surgery for LPR: Few patients need surgery for lpr. Cricopharyngeal dyspahgia is a common symptom. Assuming this is the correct diagnosis you should be treated with twice daily proton pump inhibitor, perhaps bedtime h2 blocker like zantac (ranitidine) or epcid ac as well as complete caffiene avoidance prior to surgical evaluation. If not find an expereinced laparoscopic surgeon to perform the surgery.
