I have scs for l5s1 herniation.works well but last 18 months getting pain in lumber,left sacroilliac & when sitting painin both lower legs (outside ankle to mid shin) and calf.is it possible the herniation could now be affecting both sides?

Lumbosacral disc herniations can enlarge and over time can affect bilateral nerve root function. An ominous sign of major problems would be the onset of the inability to urinate. Contact your current spine specialist and get this totally re-evaluated. Delay may be risky.
