Just moved from norcal to socal. developed jock itch in the groin 2 weeks ago, and i just started getting hives on body (chest under boobs, armpit, back, neck). the more i scratch, the more hives appear. ive taken loratadine. been super stressed?

Has your jock itch, which is a yeast or fungal infection caused by friction&moisture, been cleared up? If not, the hives may be secondary to your jock itch. I find that atarax is more effective in treating hives. The cause of hives can be elusive though. If they continue, I recommend seeing an allergist for evaluation& treatment. A combination ointment like mycolog can clear up jock itch.
