It depends on where exactly the puncture is located. Is it in a cheek? Is it a gum? Tongue? If it is not looking like there is an infection, you can rinse with warm salt water a couple of times a day. Depending on where it is, you may need to eat soft food until it heals. If there is any question of infection, see your doctor. Good luck!
