Why did the h pylori medication made worse my heartburn especially during treatment?

Many medications can worsen heartburn. If you are already off those medications and your heartburn is back to normal, then you should be all set. If you are still taking the medications causing the increased heartburn, then reach out to your GI doctor to see if the medicines can be changed. Or, if the heartburn can be treated more aggressively while you are taking these medications. Good luck!
