I'm having a lot of pain where my kidneys are, it switches from one to the other, sometimes both. mostly on my left side though.

Flank pain: Any blood in urine or pain when urinating? How severe is the pain, as sever as childbirth? If yes, may be kidney stone(s) or infection. Need to see pcp/urologist for tests, exam, treatment options. Might also be muscle spasm from straining back muscles. Doc's exam should determine cause.
