Hi, my wife is aknown asthmatic not on any medication now, 3days ago she develop chest congestion and cough,. she is 5month pregnant on iron and follate. will diprofos injection be safe to her?, which other medications she can use?

This is going to require collaboration between her OB & other treating MD. Treatment for asthmatic symptoms is very important in order to prevent serious breathing issues& respiratory fatigue. Appropriate inhaler therapy is key. If there's associated bronchitis, antibiotics will be needed. Steroids like dipofos may be required to treat persistent congestion & wheezing. The OB will have to OK meds.
