Recently whenever i have sex my shoulder tends to hurt if i'm laying on my back... is there away to prevent this pain? currently pregnant. this never happened before i got pregnant or in my previous pregnancy?

Most shoulder pain is from neck strain. You should experiment with pillows and cushions and find a position for sex that prevents this pain. You might also consider other positions for entry such as doggie to prevent this pain. It is possible that taking ibuprofen 400 mg 1/2 prior to sex might relieve this pain.
