A member asked:

What percentage of uncleared, high-risk hpv cases become cancer?

Hard to know. It is exceedingly rare for men to have HPV related penile cancer but less rare for oral cancer. Prior to the vaccine as many as 70% of college age women showed evidence of prior HPV infection and a fraction of these would go on to develop cervical cancer. Since we don't screen everyone and there is no reliable screening method yet for males the true percentage is unknown.

The exact percentage is not definitely known. Development of cancer depends on many factors.
