These are separate problems. Bacterial vaginosis is a vaginal infection due to overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Hydrosalpinx, is the result of a past Fallopian tube problem that has blocked the tube. Usually it results from previous pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Your gynecologist can better advise about your particular situation. Good luck.
