What can be the reason why i had a faint pregnancy test then 3 days later i start bleeding heavy ? i thought it was implantation bleeding ?

The pregnancy tests are based on measurement of certain hormone in the blood or urine and they may be elevated towards the end just before the period may explain why it was faint. It may also be a false positive test which happens with a lot of tests.
