This medication is used to treat a yeast infection, which itself causes a discharge. As the medication works, that discharge should get better. Fluconazole itself should not be causing a new discharge. If you are not improving on the medication, please see your doctor.

Confusing question. Fluconazole doesn't cause vaginal discharge. It is given for yeast infection; and the main symptom of vaginal yeast infection is not discharge but irritation and itching.
