I am a new mom to a 3 week old. she was 9 pounds when she was born. i feed her every 2 to 3 hours 3 ina half oz after the bottle she seems like she is still hungry i dont want to over feed her but i also dont want to starve her?

The average stomach volume of an infant is about half their pound weight as ounces. Here that would be 4.5 oz should fit and stretch feedings out to 3-4 hours. Spitting up some is common at any feeding level.

Babies often will often feed for comfort rather than hunger. If the growth is normal and there are no excessive spit ups, 4 ounces every three hours may be tried.
