Eat more: 4 pounds a week, if this has been going on for more than 2-3 weeks, is too much of a weight loss per week. I would recommend a more conservative weight loss of 2 pounds a week. If you continued to lose 4 pounds a week, at some point your body might go into starvation mode and slow down your metabolism. Its best to eat throughout the day, and eat a little more as you alluded to. Best health to you
