There are many ways to treat constipation. She’s very basic initial starting point is eating more fiber and hydrating well. You may need medication to clear you out initially. You should contact your primary doctor or a G.I. doctor for recommendations. Good luck.

Although you may simply have heightened rectal sensitivity & there's nothing in the rectal vault,there's no harm in working from below and trying a dulcolax rectal suppository or gentle fleets enema this time. A study showed that eating 2 kiwi fruits a day was just as effective as taking potent laxatives. Follow the other recommendations& regular exercise for better bowel activity. Avoid laxatives
