At least in the US dentist assistants drape a lead shield over the body when doing these x-rays. If the rays do not go through the abdomen they have no potential for an issue with reproduction.

Risk is infinitesimally small. That's why Dentists use low dosage computer enhanced equipment, collimated equipment with aluminum scatter shields, and they drape you with a lead apron. Add to that the x-rays are aimed at your head, not your lower abdomen. Probably greater risk from normal background radiation. Dental Rx is microsurgery, and no x-ray = working blind.
