Usually pitted keratolysis is a common bacterial infection which thrives in warm, wet and occluded atmosphere which is found in tight boots and shoes and affect feet, mainly soles some times in the palm and around nails. It is not commonly seen in other parts of body. It is easily diagnosed and curable disease. Bacterial infection at the shoulder can occur. Please see your doctor for diagnosis.
