Ive been on oral contraceptives for months now & today i started experiencing brown discharge. am i experiencing breakthrough bleeding or could this be implantation bleeding? its 2 days before my inactive week, so im a bit confused?

It could be implantation bleeding by its color and description and timing but you are on birth control so that is unlikely. It is more likely to just be some spotting before your typical withdrawal bleeding that you will have when you are on the week off of medication.
