Had a bad fall several weeks ago. x-rays show no breaks in hand but middle finger and knuckle are very sore. how long does it take for soft tissue injuries to heal. my finger feels very tight when i try to bend it?

Difficult to say. But strains may take longer to heal. Especially if you keep using it.
