How many days can you miss your period before you be considered pregnant?

A period can be missed for a number of reasons... doesn't mean you are pregnant. If you are late more than seven days you can take a HPT to determine your status. Only then will you know if you are pregnant.

If the delay is due to pregnancy, a typical urine pregnancy test would be positive. The test can be falsely negative early on. Many normally regular women will occasionally skip a cycle or two. When the delay passes 60 days dome OBGYNs would offer meds to bring on menses if the pregnancy test is negative.
