Epsom Salts contain magnesium, sulfur, and oxygen. If you are allergic to topical sulfur (you have had a rash due to prior contact allergy), avoid using this and use sodium bicarbonate soak instead. If you are allergic to Sulfa medications (taken internally as antibiotics, etc) then you are not at risk of topical reactions to this superficial combination.
