If you do not have liver, gallbladder, or certain metabolic diseases, the bilirubin levels may fluctuate up-and-down but usually stays within the normal range. If your bilirubin is ever persistently abnormal, you should see your primary doctor or a liver doctor for further evaluation. Good luck.
