In the absence of other symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain, green stool in adults is usually the result of something you recently consumed. Common causes include green leafy vegetables, food dyes, and iron supplements. I imagine that the chorizo is culprit. No, green stool is not worrisome. If you see black Toritarry stool or red blood, you should consult your doctor. Otherwise, you are fine. Good luck.
