Probably normal and no concern. However, if your anal area has been sexually exposed -- especially if you have receptive anal sex ("bottom") with other men -- get checked for STDs, especially gonorrhea and chlamydia. Also get checked if any other anal or rectal symptoms like diarrhea, pain, bleeding, etc.
