Antibiotics are known to reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. It is always recommended that a person use an alternative method until 5 days post antibiotic use. If you did not, there is a 15-25% chance that you may have conceived. A pregnancy test will be positive as soon as the first day of a missed period. Take a test at that point if you are concerned. Use first morning urine.
