Hello! i recvd oral sex on sat night (25th mar). since monday evening, i started to experience discomfort when urinating. since tue morning, i saw clear penis discharge. i was given cefpodoxime 200mg 2 doses (12hrs). how long will it take to clear?

This could be either nongonococcal urethritis or gonorrhea, but NGU is more likely; gonorrhea discharge is cloudy or yellow (pus) and urination painful. Cefpodoxime is not the correct treatment against either of these. It might or might not be effective against gonorrhea and definitely will not treat NGU. Doxycycline is recommended for NGU and a single shot of ceftriaxone for gonorrhea.
