A member asked:

Can a sinus blockage and inflammation cause tinnitus ? and how should i get rid of it ?

Treat the underlying sinus disease. Secondary tinnitus may improve or not. Most tinnitus is subjective and due to cochlear hair cell damage, can be central (Brain) as well. Low pitched tinnitus is frequently mechanical from grinding one's teeth, TMJ disease or cervcial spine disease. Pulsating tinnitus can indicate intratympanic or intracranial vascular anomalies
