Bleeding risk: You are 43 and relatively young for a heart attack. You live in iowa. It is likely that your stent requires that you take plavix, (clopidogrel) a potent drug. The groin area is most likely the area of the needle to gain access to your heart for the stent. Have your doctor look at the area with ultrasound. They may have used a device to close the needle site.
