Interesting concept, and it seems that millions of people have been controlled by totalitarian governments for eons. The terms "brainwashing" and indoctrination seem relevant. Movies such as the Manchurian Candidate, and TV shows like Mission Impossible deal with "mind control". (Might look at COVID-19 pandemic reactions, also!)
