A member asked:

If not getting my period and mutliple home pregnancy tests saying i am not pregnant, at want point should i see a doctor (e.g., 1 week late, 2 wks, )?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Missed period: I have always advised patients to be patient! usually, i would wait up to three months after a missed period to have an evaluation as there are many reasons for missing periods other than pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur and there is no period after 2-3 months, then your doctor will probably want to do a thorough investigation as to why your periods are not coming.
