I have a small cut in between my thumb and index finger on the flap part i have a cleaning job and im not sure if it came from some sort of needle or something contaminated my question is how would i know if its a needle stick or just a paper cut?

If you think it is a needle stick because you are around needles, you may want to contact your doctor to let them know for possible testing for disease. Otherwise, what you have done with cleaning is what there is to do; also watch for any redness in the area, apply an antibiotic cream like bacitracin (over the counter), and contact your doctor if redness/pus/swelling.
