I got my appendix taken out 6 years ago and ever since then i started missing my period and gaining weight. i have now not received a period in over 2 years. could getting my appendix getting taken out affect my periods and weight gain?

I cannot see any connection between a simple surgical procedure involving a structure separate from your uterus that would cause either problem.
