Depends upon his feeding. If he's been on breastfeeding, no bowel movement for up to 72 hours can be normal as long as he 's been fed 2-3 hourly and has had at least 5 wet diapers each day. In case infant has not been fed often enough along with decreased urine output, seek a medical attention.

Breast fed infants can go a little every feed or overflow a diaper once a week. If it is soft when they go i don't worry about it.
