Im considering going on an ssri for anxiety. how can i prevent weight gain from these meds?

There are differences amongst the individual medications in that class (SSRIs), some have more association with weight gain than others. Just for example, paroxetine is much more associated with weight gain than fluoxetine (commonly listed as one of the SSRIs with lowest risk for weight gain). Depression linked to anxiety may improve along with appetite. Recommend following with physician
