From minutes to a lifetime. Numbness is a not uncommon complication of third molar surgery. I'm sure this was explained to you pre-surgery. Please call your Oral Surgeon to discuss your problem. Depending on how long since your surgery, evaluation by a Neurologist may be bin order.
