I was pricked by a sewing pin while trying a bridal dress. i bled and got a antiseptic tissue to clean it. it caused me a scratch that i covered with a band-aid. is there any chance that i got infected with hiv or hepatitis? should i be examined?

This was no risk for either HIV, hepatitis, or any other blood borne infection. The possibility of such a pin being contaminated with blood is near zero; if so, the possibility that person has such an infection is very low; and any such virus would be dead as soon as the blood dried. Zero risk, no worries, do not get examined or tested.
