Any oral contraceptive is less likely to be effective if it is not taken on a regular schedule and if pills are skipped. If it was likely to be your fertile time, your chances go up even more. If your period is late, you should check a home pregnancy test. If this happens frequently, you might consider a form of contraception which does not require a daily pill. Good luck.
