Chronic Constipation, especially if the core stool is very hard like clay and less dense fecal material seep around it like mud. A visit with the Gastroenterologist is encouraged.

You may need to take more time for complete evacuation; however I think the perianal soiling may be from fatting in between bowel movement. It happens to a lot of people; you may reduce it by cutting down on eating fermentable food items as in sugars and simple carbohydrate. Increase fiber and fermented food in your diet. Regular exercise and fluid intake as water rather than sodas may also help
