A member asked:

Had a chemical stress test i have been itching nonstop since this test what could it be?

You're probably reacting to one of the meds used. Usually they are persantine, adenosine or its analogue, dobutamine or the substance in the radioactive isotope. Notify your MD,cardiologist so this is on your record in case you undergo repeat medicine stress tests in the future. The next allergic reaction can be more serious. For current relief of itching take antihistamines like claritin,Benadryl.
